China’s courier sector has reached a new milestone this year: over 100 billion parcels handled, according to data from the State Post Bureau.
This record volume was achieved 35 days earlier than in 2024, marking the fifth consecutive year that China has managed parcel volumes exceeding this figure, solidifying its global leadership in logistics.
The rapid rise of e-commerce and the expansion of the consumer market are driving the fast-paced growth of the courier industry. This sector not only facilitates the movement of goods but also strengthens supply chains, supports related industries, and plays a key role in boosting national economic development.
Since early 2025, the Chinese government has implemented measures to stimulate consumption, such as expanding its consumer goods replacement program. This initiative aims to boost domestic demand and unlock consumer potential.
